Rising hip-hop star GloRilla made headlines during her highly anticipated Glo Bash concert on July 25 at FedExForum in Memphis, not only for her high-energy performance but also for her bold new merchandise. Among the items available at the sold-out show was a striking black T-shirt featuring her recent mugshot from a drug-related arrest in Georgia—a move that sparked conversation across social media and the music world.
The T-shirt, which was also made available through GloRilla’s official website, was priced at $40 and quickly became one of the most talked-about pieces of merch at the event. The image on the shirt was taken following her July 22 arrest, when police reportedly discovered a substantial quantity of marijuana at her home near Atlanta while responding to a burglary call.
According to authorities, GloRilla—whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods—was charged with felony possession of marijuana and a Schedule I controlled substance, both serious offenses under Georgia state law. She voluntarily turned herself in and was released shortly afterward on a $22,260 bond.
In response to the arrest, her legal team released a statement on July 24, strongly defending the rapper’s innocence. “GloRilla is a victim, not a suspect,” the statement read, emphasizing that she should not be criminalized for circumstances beyond her control.
